A rapid augmented reality proof-of-concept focused on exploring 3D object tracking using Vuforia. The project demonstrated how physical cylindrical objects could be recognized and tracked in real time to anchor digital AR content onto real-world surfaces.
Overview
This prototype was developed to test Vuforia’s object tracking capabilities within a mobile AR workflow.
The project focused on:
- Real-time cylindrical object recognition
- Stable AR content anchoring
- Mobile AR interaction workflows
- Rapid prototyping of marker-based and object-based AR systems
The goal was to evaluate how accurately AR content could remain attached to tracked physical objects during user movement and environmental changes.
